He is accompanied by “Solitary Science” a celebrated multi-instrumentalist, composer, and electronic musician.
Along the way, the exuberant storyteller transports the audience to the turn of the 20th century in an Upper Eastside, New York City apartment, where an extraordinary magic show occurred in 1895.

DAVID CARLO is the creator and star of the critically acclaimed “Modern Parlor Magic" show which is hosted exclusively at the historic Biltmore Los Angeles Hotel. Carlo is one of the most respected minds and performers in magic, business and entertainment industry.
He was the Executive Producer of the ground-breaking TV series “MINDFREAK,” the most successful and longest running primetime magic series in television history. He works closely with superstar Criss Angel on his spectacular, groundbreaking Las Vegas stage shows. Carlo recently served as executive producer of CW Network’s star studded series “Criss Angel's Magic with the Stars."
Carlo is also an award-winning film director and writer. But what he loves most is performing for an intimate audience and sharing joyful experiences through magic.
Artist "SOLITARY SCIENCE" (aka Michael Gadsby) is a multi instrumentalist, composer, and live performance electronic musician who has been playing music since the fourth grade.
The talented performer has been featured on Bass, Guitar and Gimbri for numerous Reggae, Funk, Soul, World music, and experimental projects in Los Angeles for over a decade.
He also is an accomplished composer for film and digital content, celebrated for his specialized ambient jazz themes.
The experience is designed to be COVID safe. All performers and production staff are fully vaccinated and tested regularly. Masks for guests are optional at this time per LA County guidelines.
The show will last approximately 90 minutes.

Self parking at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel garage is available as well as parking at the Perishing Square lot located across the street from the hotel.

The Modern Parlor Magic Show is held in a beautiful private event room at the iconic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Upon arrival guests should head to the Rendezvous Court level one floor below the lobby level. There are elevators or stairs leading to the check in area.
Cocktail attire is encouraged for this intimate evening of entertainment.
The minimum age requirement is 12 years old
Only services animals are allowed
Late arrivals will not be allowed in once the show has started as it will disrupt the intimate experience for everyone. We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to the show
and enjoying a cocktail at the hotel bar.
Masks are optional at this time per LA County guidelines. All of our performers and staff are fully vaccinated.
Restrooms are available on site at the venue
Guests arriving early can grab a cocktail or lite bites at the Gallery Bar on the lobby level. No food or drink is allowed inside the performance room.

We may be able to help reschedule or exchange your ticket for another date, time or ticket type that has not already sold out. Please contact us for more information. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
It is not possible to transfer a ticket from one account to another. Instead, you can edit your order information to put your ticket under someone else’s name and email address (if you see the option). This does not remove the ticket from your Eventbrite account, but the new attendee will receive an email prompting them to claim tickets when you save the change
